Meridian was the first Stellar conference. It brought together everyone in the Stellar universe, alongside major financial institutions and industry experts, for two days of networking, learning, drinks, food, and fun. Attendees met talented, passionate people from around the globe in sessions designed to facilitate collaboration, creativity, and connection. It was a place to share new initiatives, new ideas, and new products. And it all happened in an incredible venue: the lush Proyecto Público Prim in Mexico City.
The Stellar network has been live for five years and has seen incredible growth, in both bull markets and bear. Operations on Stellar are up 25× since January 2018, and accounts are up over 10×. Together, we’re building a better, more accessible economic model. At Meridian, we celebrated the work we’ve all done, and laid the groundwork for the exponential growth still to come.
On the agenda: we addressed fundamental questions facing the network, like inflation and transparency. We discussed big challenges around adoption and marketing. We learned from economists and other experts, as well as from each other, in focused discussion groups and technical workshops. We announced new programs and services, and we did it all surrounded by the best and brightest in the Stellar ecosystem.
The Stellar community brought its biggest ideas to Meridian. It’s the first step in building the future together.
At Meridian, participants collaborated and shared ideas with other Stellar ecosystem stars in targeted discussion groups.
This was the first time that we brought together the global Stellar community.
The brightest minds from around the world shared their visions of the future. We allowed plenty of time to talk through turning ideas into action.
